We took part in a Litter pick campaign video
On the 4th of August, we took part in a litter pick campaign video. The event took part at Worcester Country Side Centre, with the focus of the video being on the effect of litter on local wildlife. We dressed up as wild foxes, badgers and frogs as well as a womble ready teach litterers a lesson! The video is currently still being created but stay tuned as we will post it as asoon as
To celebrate Earth Day, Roots volunteers have set themselves the challenge of being more environmentally friendly for the day. All of the volunteers have come up with an idea such as turning off their mobile phones for the day, watching no television or making wild bush jam! There are loads of ideas you can come up with to join in as well! Our volunteers will be documenting their trip through Earth Day on this page so be sure to check back to see how hard it is giving up something we all take for granted like a car!
Not only are we challenging ourselves to be more environmentally friendly for that day, but we're also challenging you! Use the Contact form at the bottom of this page to tell us what you're doing for Earth Day and how much it made you think about the environment! All posts will be put on this page which we expect to be full of funny days full of mishap!
Here are some of quotes from those who took part in our Earth Day challenge.
To go without my mac book and I phone for 24 hours. For anyone that knows me this is going to be a tough one. Looking forward to seeing what the day will bring.
