The play, titled ‘EcoAngels’, will be performed by young volunteers aged 16-25 in the Spiers Theatre at Worcester College of Technology. It will take a funny and informative view on the current state of the environment, and what’s needed for change.
An audience of over 100 is expected when volunteers from Roots present the show on November 25th.
Including acting all parts, youth volunteers have produced all the sets and written the script for ‘EcoAngels’. Ajay Astbury-Jones, aged 17, who is directing the play, said “People generally don’t find the environment interesting so it’s brilliant that ‘EcoAngels’ can send a message out while adding an element of fun to it. We’re all working so hard – it’s going to be great!”
With so many expected in attendance Worcester Roots would humbly appreciate any donations of food and wine for the guests enjoyment and to contribute to what promises to be a very successful night.
As an environmental based charity Worcester Roots works hard on issues in today’s world, and will offer great publicity at ‘EcoAngels’ to a business seen to care for the environment.
