We started with a presentation by our volunteers about our aims for the project and then did a Q&A with Sue Askin in which we had some great feedback and advice on how to further the project. Here is what some of our volunteers had to say about the meeting.
‘’Sue had some great advice to contribute to our campaign. I think that with more feedback from local representatives we will continue to help develop the campaign into something really tangible.’’ - Jack
''It was great to further our reach and spread the word of our campaign.'' - Rhys
''Sue gave us a good insight into the workings of local government'' - Izzi
''Having the support of a local politician who shares our concern for environmental issues will be invaluable in getting our campaign set up.'' - Ben
We are planning to take what Sue had to say on board in order to help progress the campaign, as it stands we're still trying to work out the logistics of how our Future Generations Ombudsman would be elected, how many of them their would be, along with many other issues, but we will keep working hard on the project, making sure it doesn't loose momentum.
