PRESS RELEASE: Community World Record Attempt in City Centre
A world record attempt will be taking place in Worcester Arts Workshop on the 25th April, and all are invited to join in.
As part of the CAGED Arts launch event, an afternoon of poetry workshops suitable for all the family culminating in an attempt to create the world’s longest community poem on the theme of Home. CAGED Arts is a new creative education organisation in Worcestershire, and is supported by the Prince’s Trust. They specialise in spoken word and add a new layer to Worcester’s diverse arts scene.
The event also includes workshops by international facilitators, an open performance area and a selection of poetry stalls, including a Haiku Shack where a haiku master will be creating personalised poems for attendees.
Breakout runs from 12:30 till 2:30 on 25th April 2015 at Worcester Arts Workshop, tickets cost £2.50 or £5 for a family ticket. Tickets are available to book at www.caged-arts.com and some will be available on the door.
