Firstly we put in the windows which went very smoothly with everybody's help. Correctly measuring and finding the correct way to put in the panels proved to be the most difficult task! We then made sure the shed was safe and secure, making sure no nails or other hazards were around so our tools could finally be stored away.
In the meantime, food co-op was being collected which included 4 leeks and salad! A nice collection was harvested and cleaned.
The final task was to put the roofing on the shed. This involved *even more* difficult measuring, drilling the materials into place and an unfortunate accident with a hammer! The roofing was complete, only a few trims here and there are left to make it look even better!
Tash and one of our newest volunteers, Leah, also made some great crafts work with recycled materials, they made some fantastic designs, well done!
Good job everyone, and after all the hard work and damaged fingers, we finished the day making some cleaning slime (more to come about this soon...)
