After myself, Vicky, Kurt and Tash arrived at the Fold, we headed down to the porter cabin to meet Emma and have a cup of tea before starting work. This weeks task was to continue to dig and rake the top of the large hump to make it less bumpy and a little safer for children to play on.
Soon after, Harry arrived followed by Jack and Jon on their bikes and after they had themselves a drink, Jack went off to harvest the food coop orders and took Harry with him to show how it all works while Jon was our photographer for the day
Next to arrive was Maria, and joining her were a couple of friends of hers, a local retired minster and his wife. They came to drop Maria off and bring us a load of mistletoe to sell on the food coop. After they left, Maria joined the rest of the group digging on top of the hump. We gathered back at the porter cabin for lunch and Emma brought us some left over scones from the Fold cafe. After lunch we cracked on till about 2.00 o'clock and then packed up before the rain came in.
