Soon as we were all there it was time to get to work. Myself and Maria's job for the day was to put in the hand rail posts going up the Tyre steps, as we were cracking on putting in the first post, we noticed we had an unexpected visitor show up. Dawn, who comes along to my craft sessions on a Thursday came walking down the path. So there I was, digging a hole listening to two old women ramble on, I do seem to attract them.
Meanwhile, Emma took the rest of the group over to the other side of the trail, they had the messy job of digging out metal sheets buried deep beneath the ground. If you'd seen them after you'd think they'd been mud wrestling. After we had put in the post, I got Dawn to go and rake the path down by the entrance, that will keep her busy for a while I thought to myself. Maria and I Topped up the bird feeders then decided we'd have a pleasant afternoon and go do some wild garlic picking. I thought it was best I went with her just in case she got herself lost like last time.
I have to say though, the highlight of today for me would have to be during lunch, discovering Tash, like me, is a Margaret Rutherford Fan. I was tickled pink by this, but that's another story, until next week dears, Goodnight.
