This week at the nature trail! 02/10/15
This week we had a good old tidy up beyond 'the hump' - where there were LOADS of old plant pots and waste which had been dumped their years ago.
It might sound like a rubbish job (pardon the pun), but we jazzed it up a bit by having a sing song to some cheesy 80's/90's music in what Emma called ''A rubbish disco''.
The majority of the rubbish was old plant pots which we sorted into those which are still usable, and those past their best (in pieces), so that the ones in best shape can be used either once more as plant pots, or maybe as something new (got an idea what we can use the old pots for, lets us know!
One bit of rubbish we found which raised a smile was a label saying 'Breathe With Ease, Plant Some Trees', which we sent over to Tash, who wasn't very well on the day - as she suffers with Asthma, it really did crack a smile!
We also found what we think is a Green Crab Spider, who we called Benjamin, after one of our Trustees who loves a party!!
Next week we will be working on what Emma is calling ''the offroad path'' if you would like to join us on the Nature Trail project, or any of our other wonderful projects, please do get in touch!
