Or at least we would have done if there hadn't been so much rain!
Once arrived and warmed up by our usual morning tea, we split into two groups.
After a short while hunting down Maria who had seemingly engaged full hiker mode in her hunt for wild garlic, the others headed back up to the top with some plant pots and bamboo canes.
Once back in the dry most of the gang were challenged by Emma to create a bamboo-bambi! Seeing most of the group were busy chopping away at the bamboo shoots, Harry and myself decided to cut and clean the leeks ready to be delivered to all our customers.
All this mixed in with Ryan skipping down the Nature Trail and Jon showing us all how to ‘jump rope’, we didn't manage to get as much done as we would have liked (typical British rainy day!), but an enjoyable time was had by all!
We’re not at The Fold next week due to holding a Toolkit waste session at Regency High School, but will be back in a fortnight, hopefully with much better weather!
