We headed down to the nature trail and Emma told us what jobs needed doing and then we split into groups. I took three students with me to collect wood chippings to finish off the path, one group went with Tash and tidied up the willow fences and then the rest went with Emma to clear the next part of the path.
Soon after, the rest of our volunteers arrived to help, so while Robyn took Rich and Nicola to harvest food co-op orders, Jack continued to put in the post for the bridge with help from some of the students, and Jon and Harry went and filled in the steps to make them sturdier.
The tech students worked very hard and helped us a lot and by the time they were ready to leave we had made it to the big hump, just leaving our volunteers with some tidying to do along the path.
Today was a much longer but productive day and everyone worked extremely hard and should be very proud of themselves.
