When we arrived at the Nature Trail this week we were upset to find that the felt from the shed roof had blown off, but we soon managed to fix and make it much stronger.
After that, Jon, Harry, Emma, Robyn and I headed down to the "big hump" to continue putting in the tyre steps, I sawed up a fallen tree and we used the logs to sit on around our outdoor classroom, based at the top of the hump which we are working on. Luckily we had the lovely weather with us today and a nice breeze, so it wasn’t too hot to work in.
After we stopped for our lunch we decided to clear all the rubbish that was found on the trail and placed by the side of the shed. We took it to the skips, then lay the leftover willow in its place next to the shed ready for the rain to soak it.
The final task, Jon and I put some chippings in front of the doors to the shed and edged it with bricks to give it a neat finish.
I think everyone today deserves to go home, relax in the garden and enjoy the sun!
