[University of Worcester Moon Mission]
What is it?
The Moon Mission aims to get everyone to log their activity, whether this is cycling, walking, running, swimming, rowing, or most other physical activity you can think of. The aim is to accumulate enough activity to reach the moon and back.
"How far is it to the moon and back?" We hear you ask:
Who/How can I get involved?
Anyone can join the mission, either as an individual, group, school, workplace. Either take on a challenge yourself or team up with some friends and register to start logging your miles.
When does the mission begin?
The mission launches at 00:00 on Friday 20th March (The Spring Equinox), and ends at midnight on Friday 31st July (the last full moon of July).
Why get involved?
If you want to get active, or inspire and encourage others to improve their health and well being, this is a great way to do so whilst achieving a common community goal. Whether you're a couch potato or a fitness fanatic, every little helps and you'll feel fitter and healthier.
